- The VideoCanvas discussion group has useful information from both the developer and other users and you are welcome to participate. We're using Google Groups for the forum.
- Email your questions, suggestions and bug reports to support@norrkross.com. We usually reply within a day, but sometimes the emails are caught by some spam filter so if you don't get a reply, try again or use one of the other support channels above.
Known issues
Some 3rd party QuickTime plugins can cause the app to crash. Try removing any .component files out of /Library/QuickTime and [your home]/Library/QuickTime.
Sometimes the exporter helper app opens old documents on Lion as it accidentally uses the Resume. Press the Alt key and Choose "Quit and Close All Windows" in the exporter if this happens.
The auto saving sometime fails on some computers. Some users never have this problem, but others have it frequently. (The issue is due to the way VideoCanvas uses an underlying Apple technology called CoreData for the files.) A workaround can be to restart the app to get to the previous auto saved version, or to save a version before adding any media files. Fixing this bug is the top priority.
