System requirements

VideoCanvas runs on Mac OS X 10.6 or later on all modern hardware. A good graphics card, an Intel processor and at least 1GB of RAM is recommended. The needs will vary depending on how large movies you want to produce. For high-definition editing with multiple movie tracks you want to have a powerful computer, but small simple movies will work on cheaper and older computers.

VideoCanvas works with most popular video and image file formats. There is no functionality in VideoCanvas for transferring video directly from cameras, so you might need some other software for handling your video camera or DV-tapes, but you probably already have that either as included with Mac OS X or with the camera.
